updates

Homecoming!
was awesome. I went over to Rachel's house to get ready, and EVERYONE was there. Rachel (duh), me (also duh), Kaitlyn, and Chibi-chan! AND, Rover and his boyfriend (whom is awesome and i like a lot) came over because they were bored, and Chibi-chan and RBF (Rover's bf) helped me with my hair! It was like a big getting-ready party XD
The dance itself was also pretty good. We mostly stayed together in a semi-awkward circle, and danced as weird as we wanted. I discovered that Chibi-chan can really dance, and that Rover and RBF are both adorable and not that awkward when they're together. I mean, I've been with them when they're together, but compared to a lot of couples there, they were really good at not making people feel like a third wheel. Also, they can both dance. they can both dance well.
Despite the fact that I was not allowed to remove my 4-inch heels, and was therefore in some foot pain, I had an awesome time and would do it again in an instant.

The rest of until-now:
I took my ACT's, and now that my family is back from Disney World, I can actually do stuff besides babysit my pansy of a yellow lab.

Um.... yeah. I'm baking cookies right now.

Oh, and OpenLovingSoul, I didn't go to Florida because I didn't want to. I didn't feel like missing school to stand in lines in hot weather and eat overpriced junk food. So I stayed home. XD

Birding Club!!!

Ok, this is a little late, but I JOINED BIRDING CLUB! XD

We went on our first trip this past friday, to a place near Hawk Mountain. We were planning on seeing an owl banding, but that...didn't work out so well. Saw-whet owls, which we wanted to see, are rather small, and as it was rather windy friday night, they don't fly in the wind. So, the 7 of us, plus our awesome math-teacher-chaperone, basically sat in an unheated cabin from 7 to 11, playing 24 and this really cool game the teacher brought called Sets. I won my first 24 card! and it was a 3-dot!! it had a 9, a 2, a 6, and an 8. 9 times 2 divided by 6 times 8 is 24!!

anyway, despite the abundance of cameras and picture taking, I had a really good time and learned a lot about Saw-whet owls. they're the smallest owls in the upper eastern US, and only like 8 inches tall! I saw a few pictures, and they're so cute! >.<

so.... yeah that's about it. My family is going on vacation to florida/disney world this weekend, leaving on thursday and coming back on monday. so, I have the house to myself. I also have my ACTs on saturday, as well as being dragged to homecoming that night.

yesterday/recent updates

Hi Peoples!
wow I haven't posted on here in forever......
so, um...news!

1) it has been proven that Tobi-kun is a meaniefacestupidhead that needs to die. or just get slapped really, REALLY hard. which I am going to do the next time I see him.

2) it really sucks when you have to tell one of your best friends her crush just broke her heart again

3) that being said, cheering her up with Sonar (Rover-kun), his epic bf, shopping, and asian food is really fun

4) reiterating it with more specificity: shopping with Sonar and Chibi-chan is EPIC. especially when Sonar goes into ubergay mode XD

5) through the situation stated above, I have acquired a prom dress. it is red, and needs some tailoring. but it was 20 bucks and Sonar and Chibi-chan wouldn't let me leave unless I bought it.

I love them so much haha

today/the last few days...

school started
it's mostly ok, but i love my AP chemistry class and it's teacher. he's like uber-nerd plus ninja!
i've started to get used to sleep deprivation again
and rachel's and my joint birthday party is tomorrow! ^^
just an update here. i haven't been on in forever.

lately....

Yesterday:
went to Rev Gen with Rachel and Kaitlyn (and Rachel's youth group). it was epic.
the Skillet performance in the end made me laugh, made me cry, and made me headbang so much my neck still aches.

Today:
I was doing summer homework when Chibi-chan and Tobi-kun called me. we went to the mall and hung out, then went to a restaurant by my house to eat dinner. After that, we went to Chibi-chan's house to watch Howl's Moving Castle, which both Tobi-kun and I love, and Chibi-chan hadn't seen.
at around the end of the movie, it was getting late, so it was decided that we had to go home. I didn't know the way to Tobi-kun's house, so Chibi-chan took him home and I just drove myself.
when I got home, I watched tv with my brother for a bit, then Chibi-chan called me.
right before she dropped Tobi-kun off at his house, he kissed her.
she wanted to tell me, especially how ironic it was seeing as she had gotten over her crush on him a while ago.
i have had a crush on him since the first time i met him.
she knew.
i don't want to infect her joy with my depression, but it hurts a lot more than i thought it would.

technically, YESTERDAY was my birthday, but...

I still consider it to be my b-day ^_^
I'm 17 today, and I gotta say, it feels like 16 :P
but today was pretty nice. I stayed over at a friend's house last night after she had her going-away party (she's going back to college) and it was too late for me to drive home.
We stayed up and talked until about 3 am, and then fell asleep until 8:30. well, I did. she was asleep until 2 in the afternoon. I left there around 3, and was only home a short time until Rachel visited and gave me something that made me want to hug her and cry at the same time. we hung out for a while and then she had to leave me.... :(
but we discussed having a joint birthday party, which I think would be totally awesome.

my uncle's funeral was today

It was kinda sad, and very Catholic. The incense made me sneeze. My aunt said a really sad, really nice eulogy.
the reception afterwards was full of food and family. and hugs.
I made a new friend on facebook, and whenever we talk I automatically smile.
